Dubstep track I made. Feedback is much appreciated peeps! :)

The production quality is sounds pretty good. The bass is beefy, the snare and kick cut through nicely. the synths are fat. The audio spectrum seems pretty well balanced. So good job on all of that! My only real criticism is with the composition. The verse and the drop sound a bit too similar. The verse is very thick feeling with that synth. And then the drop is basically the same but with a different synth, so it doesn’t hit as hard as I was expecting. If the verse was abit more different than the main part, with a little more headroom opened up to leave room for the heavy drop, that might go a long way.

Really digging the vibe with your synth throughout the piece! I keep hearing some variation in the melody in my head though. Flow wise the song is great, your transitions are put together well with your risers and reverse cymbals etc. I just keep wanting variation to that main synth. What DAW and synths are you using?

Would you ever be open for collabing? I’m pretty new to all this myself but man do I ever hear some sick variations to that synth in my head. This track could be gold imo if there was a bit of melody to it, the atmosphere and flow you’ve created is awesome! My 2 cents

Yeah I gotta drop harder next time lol. Thanks for taking the time! Much appreciated!

Wow thanks for that! I was going for something a little different like a laid back cruising vibe. But yeah more variation would be great! I’m open to collabing with you! I use FL Studio by the way lol

I agree with every one above me ^^^
only thing i would add is that the bass didn’t have those super low frequencies i was expecting. Secondly, i think the sub-bass could use some variation. You have a LFO sequence layered over it that is getting modulated pretty heavy, yet the envelope on the bass line never changes or alters with the rhythm. Tighten that up, and it all meld itself together in the audio field and give it that super bouncy feel.
But dope shit though man, deafening fucking risers, great growls, and that timeless dubstep reggae feel 9/10
