That’s what I’ve been doing in Tenacity (Audacitys superior version) for the longest time, but I never realized I could do that AND record my mic at the same time and have everything recorded on one wave file up until like, 5 hours ago.

Ok - so Mac is out of the window for now. If I can afford it and everything syncs up sales wise I’m gonna sell my TR8S and Eowave Quadrantid Swarm and get 2x Pioneer XDJ-1000mk1 and then maybe if I can sell it quickly enough, swap my XZ for a Xone 96…

When I get my studio room set up I’m gonna want a new midi keyboard. Does anyone recommend the arturia key lab or have a better suggestion? I kinda want a decent amount of keys
There are so many different decent ones, comes down a lot to what kind of keys you prefer to play on. 61 keys is usually more than enough for most use-cases.

I know I just wanna spend a decent bit on it and get something durable instead of buying my 3rd berringer keyboard and eventually getting a issues
The size is not so much of a factor as I deffo want a big one this time so I can “play” with both hands. Wanna actually learn to play the piano soon so need 61 key or whatever it is
Ah, well if you wanna play actual piano, you should go for a board with weighted keys and full range (88 keys) and a sustain pedal.
I don’t really believe in full sized keyboards. The bass sounds loose and the treble sounds flat to me if you don’t individually tune the keys.

If you do use your audio interface for loopback into your DAW, mute the loopback channel while recording.
In Ableton, the loopback channels are a bit counter-intuitive. On the M4 it is channels 7&8 even though the M4 only has 4 ins and outs. Not sure how it is on the M6.

Update: money from the mixer didn’t show up yet (fingers crossed it comes in today) and my buddy who’s upgrading his XDJ-1000MK1 to MK2 got delayed because the guy who’s selling his MK2’s stopped replying 
sounds like it’s time to finally give up mixing and take up the family business like Dad always wanted
