just pop a utility on and hit mono on dat bad boy to mono it out. Or u can turn the width down
There is also Bass Mono in Utility and you can set the frequency so everything above it isn’t in mono.
i think it works more as a crossover point rather than a hard cutoff but yeah love that thing

I pulled out the manual.
The Bass Mono switch converts the low frequencies of the input signal to mono. This is useful for avoiding coloration of low frequencies when they are replayed in mono. You can use the Bass Mono Frequency slider to adjust the cutoff frequency between 50-500 Hz.
When Bass Mono Audition is enabled, only the low frequencies can be heard. This can be useful for tuning the Bass Mono Frequency.
My basses are generally already in mono, but if you have some complex patch where there are some things in stereo, this can be useful to separate the low end.
Also, everyone, always check your final mix in mono.

Made this almost two years ago using some samples from the DSF competition. Cleaned it up a bit and here it is.
Been trying to get back on production - it’s still a beast to conquer imo and working with only free shit atm feels limiting but super fun in some cases.

Been watching Blawan’s Home Of Sound tutorial today, really inspiring stuff + the techniques he shows off isn’t all that complicated. Basically he resamples everything he does over and over and over, adding movement and texture through filtering/distortion/warping until it sounds dope and he structures it out.
