Discovered that the main synth in this track is literally an old-ass arp sample from the Euro Techno - Ground Loops pack. More precisely “arp 5”.
Fwiw: video’s got 7 mill views and the song was featured in Hotline Miami.

The benefit of synth samples is that you don’t waste time/energy on modulating a patch from scratch or even from a preset! You might be able to fine tune little nuances in the sound sample!
