could be this?
nice, that sounds great
Can anyone recommend some good sampling tutorials for Ableton and Reaper?
do you mean sampling long, not quantised “human made” songs? it can be a pain in the arse but there are several tutorials about it.
Yeah non quantised human made stuff, cheers
Why can it be a pain?
well for me it’s a bit of hit and miss. sometimes I just can’t get it to work despite following some tutorial to the dot. sometimes I can do it on my own using alternative methods. I suppose it requires some practice and “getting it”. but ableton’s warping is a really powerful tool for this.
here’s another video you might enjoy
Gonna have a go with this on Wednesday night.
Still haven’t started to learn Ableton yet but i keep writing down sampling ideas on my phone and there is shit loads so the least i could do is to start cutting them up and saving them in Ableton incase one day i pull my finger out.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, highly recommend ReSlice.
Yeah i have an iphone. Cheers will have a look today!
How does he do that pitching and stretching without distorting the audio?!?
it’s called warping in ableton, I don’t think it’s a feature in many other music programs?
Shame. Looks dope.
you can do this in cubase too pretty much
Anyone familiar with/used this?

I may put it on my birthday wishlist…
Pro Tools too but it’s not as easy.
fanu seemed to like it
Looking into this now, is it deff worth the money?
EDIT: purchased anyway
anyone got or played with one of these?
Damn that is so sick, wonder if it would work as a guitar pedal
Yeah it would, u might need a di box tho
Edit: actually don’t look like it would work with a guitar, it only works as a send/return effect. Can’t believe i haven’t heard of this company before, they have some sick stuff, bit pricey tho
