Intense Records, Chelmsford’s will be taking part in National Record Store Day this Saturday 16th April 2016.
With a whole host of releases across the indie & rock scene from the likes of David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana there are still a whole load of releases for the bass heads to get there teeth into including a grime release from Chase & Status entitled ‘The London Bars Project’ featuring Frisco, Novelist, Giggs & Bonkaz.
2 dance classics get the repress treatment, the seminal ‘Pacific’ by 808 State and the Accelerator LP by Future Sound of London which features the anthem ‘Papa New Guinea’. Dusky releases his new house track ‘Bucket & Spades’ with the Paleman remix and Gorgon City are pressing a summer anthem Saving My Life featuring Romans.
Hip Hop heads will be spoilt for choice, with releases from J Dilla’s , Pete Rock, Notorious B.I.G, and Ol Dirty Bastard.
Dubstep & D&B fans will be after the exclusive Om Unit remixes of J Kenzo’s ‘Ruffhouse’ & Nomine’s ‘Blindman’ on Tempa, and we are lucky enough to have the original artists J Kenzo & Nomine instore for a mix and signing copies for the punters.

Intense Records will be holding a special in store day for Record Store Day open from 9am-6pm, with live Djs, special guest appearances & local artists performing plus competitions, free giveaways and more. ‘The Smoking Bun’ food shack have been invited to supply some mouth watering low and slow smoking meat treats including Beef brisket, Ribs & pulled pork.

SUKH KNIGHT
Sukh Knight is a record producer and DJ from East London. He started his career as part of Nasha Records and True Tiger whom he left in early 2014 to concentrate on solo productions.
Also running New World Audio label with his brother Squarewave, his original sound and mad skills on the decks fill dance floors week upon week and is one of the most credible producers in the scene.

SQUAREWAVE
Squarewave has released tracks on some of the biggest labels in the dubstep scene, such as Boka Records and Hench Recordings, with music licensed to Ministry of Sound and Rinse FM.
2010 saw the start of his own record label New World Audio - now onto its twentieth release - and growing stronger with every record.
