In the first clip how did you get the lead in the drop to sound like that, the one over the sidechained chords. thanks

Can I get a look at the Serum patch perhaps? I like this tone.

Your filter game is strong, senpai. My main problem when making growls is that they tend to fall apart when played at low notes; any tips on what you do to keep them strong and clear there?

Hello all, iā€™m really into Serum stuff lately and I havenā€™t been on here in a long time but I still see lots of Massive stuff from limited scrolling up. Hereā€™s a little easy thing in Serum, 100% Knife Party Power Gloveish https://clyp.it/oyxo4g41 All the sounds I make and show will be straight Serum Patches and the INTERNAL effects. No other plug-ins requires unless I say otherwise. Iā€™ll post a sound and if anyone likes it and wants a link to the patch or a screenshot, shoot a reply and it shall be done  Edit: Yes there is a pitch drop in sound in the actual Power Glove song, but itā€™s really basic just throw a macro on it and modulate it as such, even an envelope or LFO if you really want to cause yourself the extra trouble. :full_moon_with_face:

Edit: 10:24PM
Got bored and decided to go for another sound of a tune I had in my head, Zomboy - Patient Zero
So here was my scrap attempt at something moderately close yet different because I liked the sound the way it turned out instead. https://clyp.it/pysy3ftm version 1 of the sound at the correct pitch.
and version 2 pitched up an octave to show the essence of a Must Die patch https://clyp.it/0ewjhi3a
Again, all sounds made in Serum with no External effects, Only the effects in Serum Itself.

Change the key of the track to FMinor or F# Minor or just round it up and make it flow correctly so that your growl hits either F or F#, thatā€™s the

USUAL

sweet spot of most ā€œI want 2 kno how 2 mak dat sundā€ type growl. :full_moon_with_face:

Well, again got bored so I decided to make the tune stuck in my head. This is Pon3 - Bits & Pieces
Really simple. The only external effects were OTT (Which you can use the built in serum compressor for but I kind of forgot about that at the time) and an Equalizer to cut out a weird Harmonic coming from around 300Hz making it really distorted. Thereā€™s a lot of modulation (well not much but a good chunk) going on here. Enjoy! https://clyp.it/yxiqyt5t
Update: Changes a few things to make it sound a little closer to the original https://clyp.it/fahae0lz :full_moon_with_face:

Need advice and criticismā€¦ Ive been trying to make short, wet, alien growlsā€¦

I made this sound with no re-samplingā€¦ strait up in massive with some amp and vocodex attached.

finally i achieved something really close to the Barely Alive growl
Process its similar as allways
Distortion with ohmicide and wave shapper, then filtering and phaser and finally OTT + compression
enjoy

Not gonna lie. That bass and those wubbles were great. Had to do a second take for both.
