Lesson is 3/4 at 105bpm. In the intro, you have a kick on the 1 every four bars. 12 counts at 105bpm = 16 counts at 140bpm. The “Lesson” kick drops neatly on the 1 of every 9th bar (i.e. usually every other rotation of a motive) of your 140 record.
that whole plate it tough.
mixing it in is bless, but coming out I’m always a bar or two out regardless of what I do so it might be an issue on my part.

i use the first kick as cue point then there’s like 16 bars (i think?) before the first bass drop
but yeh every tune on this plate is a bit of a mindfuck to mix in

I can get it to drop on time, just the groove doesn’t sit right alongside/on top of any tune once it’s in
Only thing i’ve had much joy with foamy plates is Glamma

Yeh he accents hats and stuff right before the beat to give it that feel, usually he has a solid kick on 1 and snare on 3 tho, i just concentrate on them when mixing his stuff
champion - crystal meth. can mix out fine but cannot for the life of me mix it in
Peverelist - gather is another one i cannot mix in but can mix out
Kaiju - 3+2, is there even a way to mix this?
