This is… pretty bad… I’m sorry
Try actually learning how to use the VST’s you pirate and then use free patches on copied from youtube. Learn how to arrange song from beginning to end and why to structure it that way for a desired effect… also look up how to properly mix a drum rack to make it sound nice. Turn it up’s beginning was actually pretty cool but then you dropped it into like hard style and it raped my ears.
Once again I’m sorry just my opinion tho
You know what, I appreciate your honesty. But, I didn’t “steal” anything from YouTube. I understand an EDM songs structure. Buildup-drop-buildup-drop-end. Also, can you tell me what you think of my other songs because I appreciate your honesty about this.
Check out my Ethan Bradberry remix. I think that is better than the EP anyway. My least favorite track on that EP that I made was Turn It Up.
yup same problem my man mixing and synthesis are whack. Your song writing is decent. I didn’t mean that you were stealing something, I’m just trying to convey that the way you synthesize is pretty bland and reminiscent of a lot of over used patches in massive. Try going “back to the chalk board” on your synth creation. Try to create something unique, try layering your synths. Try stereo imaging the higher layered melodies, such as sample delay, chorus, phase. This will give your melodies more depth, as i felt pretty much all of your songs were incorrectly mixed. That on top of a myriad of other problems such as the way your phrase and arrange baselines. Everyone is a critic though haha
