Finally got around to cleaning the ol’ breezeblocks and pop in some upgrades seen! Got in there with Q-tips and everything took like 4 hours, added the dust covers cuz i aint finna clean my decks every week just to have them always look dusty anyways. Upgraded to the concord black headshells since i have to rebalance everything anyways and got some steezy acrylic slipmats seen!

Why isn’t the mixer in the middle? 
Flattest points on the shelf are on the left. The right side is starting to dip up on the edge since the shelf is on legs. I can still manage it with the pads on the turntable to level it out but slightly annoying
Im letting them sit like that for a few days see how I feel about it and see if the shelf evens out a bit. I dont really dj anyways, i basically just fade from disc to disc when listening to an album. I got the second deck and mixer cuz some times if people are over its annoying to always kill the vibe by not having something queued up.

Switched position and got clear vibration dampening mats. Green was too gully. Might pull them out if i have a party or something with some lights or w-e

How is the torque on those RP8ks, compared to 1210s? Tried some Ars Technica ones a while back, couldn’t fucking touch the platter without fucking the entire mix… weak af shit torque on those…

the nonadjustable super oems (and i assume its whats the max is on the 8000s) have fucktons of torque, noticably more than the 1200s

It was creamlord lol, and i was on holiday on a greek island when it was released, in the f5 at 19:00 hrs days, but had just been paid and was very drunk, so perfect storm tbf, fun times lol

cozying up to new mixing room after moving last month! Finally got the records back in order…still need to get the speakers up and running, but the headphones work fine…so much more breathing room to move around a bit!! It’s great…keep that heater off though - don’t want melted and warped records!
