Has anyone ever had trouble with the CPU meter in Abelton?
Live seems to think I’m at 77% CPU load but when I open my task manager it say I have only used 10% CPU and 30% RAM.
Dose anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
Are u running 32 bit or 64 bit?
Not sure if that would matter but feel like 32 bit always fucks up cos it can’t access as much of ur ram and proceser or something

I think I know why…
I duplicated a bunch of tracks to see what would happen if I hit over 100%. Once I when over it jumped back down to 40%.
I could be wrong but what that looks like is it was only showing the active CPU cores.
ableton supports hyper threading so try right clicking ableton in task manager and select set affinity and check all the cores
yeah the 32/64bit thing relates to how much RAM an application can address - nothing to do with cpu
