discovered this one while browsing redeye, thought it was yet another of these dime a dozen uk garage labels putting out stamped whites that seem to have cropped up the past few years and got my mind blown

See I don’t mind those releases, but I get them on digital where possible. They’re fun to mix and good for slamming some old school jacking house into.
Saying that I couldn’t tell you any of the names of em cos they’re forgettable
yeah this sounded more dismissive than i meant it, actually bought a couple for exactly that reason, fun tunes to mix with, just a bit funny how many of these labels there are, feels like its like half of the redeye bass section these days

Last last Thursday I was invited to DJ at my campus’s radio station. Two mixes, typical DJ fare from me on the first and an ambient set for the second one.

Overall, really really fun. My friend had an XDJ which is basically a whole Pioneer DJ unit all in one (two CDJs + mixer). That was my third time ever DJing with entirely digital equipment. I had to work around a few hiccups with Rekordbox. DJing can be really intoxicating at times lol. (in a fun way)
