Life Elsewhere has got some nice funky drums, plenty of rolling fills nd ghosts. That snare is crispy.
Wasn’t a fan of the vox. The grimy wob is 100% accurate.
Renegayed was starting to get somewhere, shame is was so short. The acid alarms and FX were really good. Excellent atmospherics. Drums needed more weight.
Trickster got some real nice drums too , but could’ve been heavier. That Silent-Hill-esque siren in the background was pretty sick.
Trooth - again nice rolling drums. I liked the metallic synth-y FX and textures.
4 and a half was trying to be The Nine, but it definitely had that grunged up early 00s menace. Cant really go wrong with a reece though.
Psychiatrist hit the nail on the head. Ray Keith mid-set roller. Drums on point, sub is heavy, grinding wobs front and centre, atmos and FX are the icing on the cake. Top notch
Not sure about Rugged Cross, didn’t really fit the brief imho
Tough to choose. Good to hear all the different breaks being smashed up and reconstituted.
Made my choice.
I listened to all these on the way home. We all used the close encounters sound bite lmao. Good shit.
