I haven’t cast a vote yet, but it looks like we have a clear winner already…

Idk man there’s a good 10 people who have yet to vote ! Think we need a drive to recruit voters…

Bump !

I actually didn’t get one done for this comp

(too many real life things overlapping time)

I hope so, but we usually only get about 12 voters in total…

That’s crap since there is 24 people who have posted in the thread, would expect at least 18 or so  maybe a post to drive this in the random thoughts section ?

Last one got around 20 I thought. I still need to vote too. Me and my girlfriend are going to take a listen through soon

Oh shit really? That’s pretty awesome!

Listening through DSF comp entries with the girlfriend

and I’d thought my life had peaked !

Heavy heavy early dubstep vibes from track 1, and if it wasn’t for that vocal snippet I couldn’t even tell it was from the pack. You guys always kill it with these samples, twisting them out beyond recognition. That hollow wob + synth + sub is just fucking excellent. That’s going to crush it on a rig.

Track 2 is madness. Chiptune melodies with serial killer, french-noir movie basslines tethered to skeletal breaks. Yes I’ll take!!

Number 3 is the older, broodier and more menacing cousin of track 2. Cheap aftershave, brandy and cigarettes after dark.

If Loefah & Distance had a bastard lovechild it’d probably come out sounding a bit like track 4. The way you fucked that vocal up to sound like a siren at 01.50 was sick. Distortion level :fire:

I really really dig track 5. I wasn’t into it at first but it needs repeated listens. The drums and percussion are so subtle and rolling. Pure vibes.

Track 6 is straight fun! And really good to hear something different. Was not expecting a juke track. Perfect choice on those vocal samples.

I thought I was listening to an old warp record when track 7 started - that synth is sublime and th kickdrum is so sick. I  how this just rolls and rolls and rolls. Endless summer haze. Everyday is Sunday afternoon.

Is it 1992? Am I in a tent in a field at 5am watching the sun come up on the best E of my life?
I must be if track 8 is playing. That switch in the bass melody at 02.24 makes this track. Loved it.

Track 9

FUCKING YES M8!!
