yeah it’s still a bit confusing on the mixer side, the jacks on the mixer are TRS, but it looks like you can switch between Insert and Aux mode on the mixer, so for this scenario you’d want it on Aux (not Insert).
For Inserts you would use a ‘proper’ Y-splitter cable with TRS on one end and TS on the other 2 ends - this is for when you are sending/returning the L + R out of one TRS Jack (which is then split into L + R mono)

Got to grips with this last night and started looping DJ Food beats whilst mixing old rave tracks. Bonkers little unit, love it

Someone gave me this to play with without a manual so not sure what fucking half of it does but looks interesting. Yet to try it tho
