Any genre. Which tunes have vocals you rate. who are your favourite vocalists
Jill Scott - “He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat)”
Cam - My Mistake
Was going to just be Jill Scott, then realised I’ve been bumping this all summer. Cam’s voice is ridiculous…shame this live version is missing the piano of the album version.
that fucking tirzah and micachu tune
forgot gill scott
how can i forget shola too??
shola ama 4 sure
jonny craig (from slaves, ex-emarosa, ex-dance gavin dance) & tyler carter (from issues, ex-woe, is me)
always liked the way the vocals sounded on this
reminds me a bit of robert smith and suits the music very well - which is just as important as a talented vocalist imo
really love spaceape’s vocals from like 2004-2009. idk why that’s a bit unpopular lately around here. imo sounds way better than typical reggae vocals or w/e
and obvs memories and all the hyperdub stuff around that time
and speaking of reggae
got a soft spot for autotune tbh lol
not as extreme as other drill & reap dudes out there
Corey Taylor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTxAS4jGsyU
Rick James : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dNIQVYGXbM
Adam Gontier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxDcWvZCSRg
If I could have someones voice for a day, it’d be Barrington Levy. I’d just shout WOOOHHHH all day.
