FREE STUFF (ᴘʟᴜɢ-ɪɴs, sᴀᴍᴘʟᴇs, ᴇᴛᴄ.)

is there such a thing as a free autotune VST?

I’d like to use one to do some comedic elements of tracks

There’s this really old one https://www.gvst.co.uk/gtune.htm … depends on your intended use of the word “free” because it’s not like (toe-fudge eater) Richard Stallman’s type of free.

EDIT: I meant this one: https://www.gvst.co.uk/gsnap.htm

use Grallion 2 or MAutoPitch, they sound great

Graillon 2 is ace.

Ooooh gonna download this when i get home to my computer…

I only have a dmeo version, and I don’t use it for tuning anyway
I use it for pitching vox because you can keep the dry signal mixed in, and it has this inertia button whch seems to add some subtle disorienting movement to the sample. Like old vinyl wobble is the best way I can describe it.

Edit. Found the cheat sheet - Inertia preserves certain notes so i guess it’s turning the VST off and on real quick. Anyway it sounds cool.

Edit. Edit.
Grabbed this free too just now…

Free version has the delay function disabled but that’s fine, I got two awesome delays already.

Ayy thanx a lot for the heads up about this plug. Sounds much cleaner than my otherwise go-to LittleAlterBoy by soundtoys :fire:

Tbh I don’t use it for it’s intended purpose so can’t comment on how it works as an actual pitch correction tool.

damn. that’s one handy tool! thanks!

i should subscribe to this thread.

There are very many powerful plugins in Live. Do you have Suite? If not, there are still many powerful plugins. Since this is the free stuff thread, you may already have what you need.
