Ooooh that sounds sick on the noise sample.
Copped
Maybe I will check out Surge again. Sounds like there has been a lot of updates from the open source community.

I think it was the user interface that turned me off before. I was just too small with no way to adjust it.
Agreed - old UI stood for UnIntuitive. Definitely looks more user friendly now.
I installed it but haven’t gotten around to using it yet.
PureMagnetik have a bunch of nice texturizer/drone/glitch/particle VSTs with lovely UI
A couple are free, and the rest are less than 6 quid.
Audacity3 just dropped
Anything noteworthy with the new version? I havent had a reason to use Audacity in ages
Cant see anything different tbh
May as well have left it at v2
I only ever use it for boosting sample volumes, cutting samples from audio files, and doing a quick limiter/normalise on rendered wavs.
Im sure superusers will have lots of new things to play with
Yeah fair Abltn is v effective for these things so will probably pass. But does it look nicer now?
Looks exactly the same Perhaps theres a skin setting somewhere. Not bothered to look.
Sick, thanx for the share!
Hubb is the one to thank bro I just copied it over to here ! All hail @hubb
Have had a real good experience when it comes to old and ‘forgotten’ sample packs tbf so this is how I feel atm:
I get you man, this link is a goldmine rlly !
That Jungle one is just fantastic.
So many good pads, synths and chords in there
küss deine augen bruder i’m gonna make some music today
I know airwindows have been posted before but wanted to share his latest (free) release, “Mackity” which is an emulation of the input stage of the Mackie 1202. Suuuperb free distortion that your 909 kicks will love.

Airwindows is the Don Gorgon
Making me want to pull out my 1202 VLZ. I’m using a Soundcraft which is nice but it needs auxiliary outs for recording. Need to revisit and do some engineering.
