But anyway, you should hold off on making tutorials or music for that fact until you get decent. Not hating or anything but your leads are really primitive… like something that comes out of a cheap casio keyboard. Even though primitive can be good in some cases, your type of sounds have been out patched since the 80s… and being outpatched by 5 years is pretty much a death sentence for any electronic producer… unless your arrangements are spectacular… which they arent atm.

If youre serious, just wait and delete your stuff. Then spend about a year or two locked in your room shedding tears over FL studio projects and you should come out a lot better than where you are now.

I agree with what you said. This is a very simple tutorial meant for people that are starting to produce music I kept the synths very simple so i could show beginners in a quick and simple way. Could you imagine talking to a beginner about side chains and phase canceling and all that stuff.

Yeah i heard your other songs… I made that statement based on your soundcloud profile not just your tutorials. You have some weird thing going on with the dissonance and pitch with most of your leads… Maybe youre trying to emulate the sound of an organ idk.

Honestly, there is a tutorial trap where you got mostly kids or adults making shitty tutorials but never get anywhere with there music. For some reason you can either be known for your tutorials or get known for your music its either or not both.

It said that dubstep is a form of electronic dance music, originated in London, UK blablabla. Now the page is like 6 times longer than before but the same shit is still there. It’s just that people these days call everything EDM, which is kinda dumb. It’s the same thing if somebody said you he likes Acoustic Live Music. It doesn’t tell anyone a single shit about what kind of music he’s talking about. It could be anything with acoustic instruments and which is played live, same way as “EDM” includes almost like every single form of electronic music that’s played in clubs.

You wouldn’t find anybody at Berghain for example referring to Techno as EDM…i have a general idea of what people mean when they specifically point out that they listen to EDM.they are largely referring to that rather premature,specific,uber commercial strand of the composite of dance music

I use the term edm because it rolls off the tongue far better than electronica or post-trap minimal jumpup or rave era happy hardcore. I hate most of the ultra commercial shit btw.

Honestly i see it as a learning experience… For most outsiders when i say i listen to edm the usual responce is “oh like calvin harris and diplo right?” And then i say “no i listen to something called drum n bass and grime instrumentals… You should check it out.”

For people in the scene they just ask me what genre.
