I can remember listening to MSX FM in a Hummer in GTA III doing drive by’s. That was my lick in that game.

Yeah when i first ran into that station the fast breakbeats and the MCing was so exotic and almost repulsive in how foreign they sounded… But now i drive around with a rip of that station playing in my car.

I find it hard to believe that people don’t know what drum and bass is in USA. My mum and dad know what it is lol. Its a lot more common here though. (Terrible) dnb gets played on radio 1 all the time
Dnb is also thoroughly British in origin tho. Americans don’t pay attention to other countries’ homegrown sounds until we appropriate them and forget where they came from.
