The sample is legal if it was sampled from illegal music. Not like sampled from sampled music, but sampled from music with a higher resolution than a police siren. While music that is higher resolution than a police siren isn’t formally illegal, law enforcement does attempt digital and solvent based degradation of copy, as well as free use for any format that degrades the original, and does not provide traditional copy protection for source material.

As far as traditional sampling goes, 2 bars or less does not fall under scrutiny or derivative works laws. Some cops literally set themselves on fire or have seizures trying to sample high resolution music though so they’re always looking for a patsy or informant to bite or figure out the process.

People burned out portions of my larynx with solvent because I sing at a higher resolution than a police siren. They discovered this in my youth in church and have been solving out flesh from my throat since I was 12. People often try to impress me with how much louder and faster they can talk than me while carrying solvent copy of my own flesh in their carry.

I’ve been getting all that flesh back piece by piece over the last few years from people who literally authenticate themselves as me commit crimes to get warrants on me and get me shot at while they walk and get money for it. They just smile and smell their own fart and use it as a reason why I’m less than them.
