yeah man that’s what’s so much fun about making drums and basses. You can take a simple sounding thing from the beginning and then turn it into something dope.
Plenty of variety in there, shout be fine, use some eq perhaps to subtractive eq (remove frequencies)

By the way, is there a general thread about sound design with Massive within the DSF Forum ?
There is a couple of drops I would like to recreate for practice.
For example, I would like to recreate the high pitch sound of Taro - Flashpoint Remix by Alpha Noize.
