Long lost dub plates

Some of the only vocals I like are from Flow Dan

fair enough

new info - that mala dub “Torn at the Roots” people been talking about is actually called Misty Winter pt. 2. It all makes sense now.

Alright Soul Jazz let’s make sum moovs.

Oi that sounds lush

Misty Winter Pt. 2 is like the finished version of Torn At The Roots. The percussion also sounds slightly different in both.

Here’s another clip of Misty Winter Pt. 2

gotta remember the other clips are ripped from mixes, so they could have percussion from other tunes in them.

he played it from the beginning in the infernal sounds clip though

you can hear the beginning of torn at the roots at 2:26 after the rewind

Yup i remember this one.
I actually messaged d1 on Myspace about it years ago and he said it would never get a release cause Stevie’s family didn’t allow it.
Probably the best least known dubplate ever imo.
I know N-type has it cause i got a mix from 07 with it on.
ABSOLUTE BANGOR

yeah, that’s where I heard it, in Ntype’s sets from 2006/2007. I lost the set but I remember the tune. Still, I am not sure if the version I posted (from youtube) is the same version that N-type played? can you verify that if you still have the n-type’s mix?

I don’t remember there being a sax in it tbf.
Maybe N-types dubplate was an incomplete version.
However you know how N-type do, he already has the nex 20 tracks qued up so it might of been he just didn’t allow it to play for long enough.
The mix I have with it he reloads it too so he is most likely just playing the 1 st minute twice.
He dropped it into this bad boy:
