Hi guys! Was looking for some feedback on my new tune. I’m going for a dark theme, tho I feel as if the melody is screwing me on that point haha.

Listening to your track I can sense the type of style you are trying to achieve, but it seems as if your technicality is not strong enough for you to create what is exactly on your mind. The lead sound is off beat and you need to use a better sound for it since its kinda killin the ‘’ Dark ‘’ feeling you are trying to get.
Good sounds in there, but the arrangement and programming were a bit on the dull/predictable side. The constant kick/snare pattern was a bit boring after a minute or so.

Yee I agree, the lead is killing the dark vibe for sure.
And yea, I understand what you mean about the kick/snare pattern, it gets repetetive, maybe change it up a bit will do the trick.
But overall mixing etc, what to you feel about that? Is it mixdown well, or are hats or something too loud?

But all that about programming, arrangement etc. That is something you git gud at as you progress in your music, im a right?

The longer you produce, the better you’ll be translating the ideas you do have into a track. So it’s just a practice thing. The quality of the ideas themselves are down to the individual.

Well I like it tbh, Simplicity in the arrangement has never bothered me. I like the dark vibe, but some things are throwing it off, like the “ayys” every trap artist ever used. None the less, i still like it

The kick sits nice, like the wubs, hats could go down a -db- the snare is too whitre-noisey for the track imo- go for something more organic like a rim shot layered with a clap with short attack and the right ammount of subtle distortion and reverb. Good job though mate.

I get what youre trying to do but i think its the sound of the higher synth in the melody thats throwing it off

Haha and thanks about the Badman track, friend who told be that there was too little happening in the drop but I dont know, sometimes nothing make it sound fuller If you catch what I mean haha.

Haha yea, the high synth def throwing it off. I think its hard to make a lead/synth that gives that “bad”, evil sound, so in my next track I’m trying to take advantage of more Fx etc, we’ll see how it turns out haha!
