As for feedback the only thing I can say is another kick or filtering it differently or playing with the env. It’s pretty clicky, nothing bad but I think it would sound better deeper. Just my personal taste on kicks though.
Thanks! Yeah I see what you mean. I’ll experiment with that. If I can’t come up with something nicer I’ll just leave it I guess.
Liking the minimal/sparse beats, got a kind of BOP percussion style feel to it which I’m digging. Maybe a little more processing on the drums as @wormcode has mentioned, but otherwise great stuff.

I like the percs myself, nice rolling feel to them with a touch of swing and the snare/rimshot fits in nice with the atmosphere.

@wormcode @tabasco I redid the kick here, I’m not sure the difference is that big. Listening back and fourth the difference is very subtle but I think its better. I’m afraid of going ham on the kick because it might detract from the other elements

Comparing them it almost makes the original kick sound out of tune. It’s probably not, just the contrast playing tricks. The revised one mixes better with the darker synth and perc elements imo.
