MUTANT DANCEHALL COMPETITION - LISTEN AND VOTE!!

Downloaded the pack last night and started throwing a lil bit together. And damn this is making me rethink my whole stance on my music production. Kinda wanna stop trying to make dubstep tunes and focus on dancehall vibes for awhile.

Haven’t checked the pack yet, been working on some other stuff. Recorded some acoustic guitar on top of a 2-step beat, latino vibez, just like back in 2004.

Thinking of starting on this. Haven’t checked the samples yet. Just watched that first link in desc, it’s exactly what I thought it would be.

I think the bpm is challenging tbh. 55/101/202 aren’t common bpms for a lot of peeps, and you’re dealing with either sludge, dirge, or breakcore if you plug in standard quarter-note melodies.

You gotta get creative to make it work which is kind of the fun part if you’re into that - it’s a challenge after all.

Like, you can do melodies at 156 bpm if they’re in 3/4 time right? :duncelol:
