Hi,
I’ve been doing music for a long time but am new to the electronic-music space. In the past 2 months I’ve created 10 tracks, but I still don’t really know what to call my style besides “dubstep”! I think that label is a bit generic and probably not 100% accurate. Can you help me? Any comments/feedback is welcome and appreciated too.

I personally can’t see this as being considered a dubstep track. But some might argue otherwise. Perhaps the drums you used were from a “dubstep drumset”, but the way you played them out and the way the rhythm goes, it isn’t very dubstep-esque. I couldn’t pin this song to a genre; it has vintage-sounding supersaws and a cheerful rhythm in the drums. It could be considered something like retro-dance?.. or perhaps just dance; or electronic. Either way, it’s good stuff.
