Saw one of those cheapy roll-up 88 key pianos on wish.com For like $25 and almost skipped past it… til I saw it had a midi port on the side.
Wonder if it would suffice as a vacation midi controller or if it would just give me Tourette’s.

Eh, it’s a money trap more than anything. Some things are total crap - and some is the same as overpriced crap you can buy elsewhere faster for like 3000% as much. Also have a bunch of weird plant seeds.

Anyone familiar with sample-cds from the 90s? I’ve burned a .bin file over to a cd and I’m wondering if the samples are supposed to be arranged in continuous tracks. I.e track 2 is just a collection of different snare samples, track 3 is a break etc.

Most modern DAWs should let you import an entire track of like 25 one shots or whatever and then automatically split them up at the transients into regions which can then be exported as separate files in one go
I would at least know how to do that in logic now
