I usually make my own multiband things in Reason, then you can sidechain your sub against the low kick and onwards upwards where needed. Dunno how those filters work though, but I usually mono check everything before I start to mix properly (1st thing to check).

The idea of data driven cross-modulation and like “metapatching” is obviously awesome af, but in the end it’s all about implementation. If the underlying systems are in any way squirrelly or unresponsive they’ll torpedo it before it even gets off the ground.
Hope they figure it out.

yeah, i think an interface specifically made for VR movements instead of trying to recreate a physical one (virtual knobs and cables) in the digital space is going to be the way forward
