braille is in sepalcure with machine drum but is more melodic
seafloor is kind like jai paul, but more like snes-16bit trashy, than sidechain funk trashy

not to sound all snobby audio engineer about it but I’ve noticed a LOT of people don’t seem to understand that audio file/streaming data compression is a completely different thing from volume dynamic compression when talking about digital audio quality

in reference to what ?
like streaming for example, youtube or spotify etc. people thinking their “compression” is dynamic compression. like I read someone give the advice once that if you turn the volume down on youtube and turn it up on your speakers to compensate it will be “less compressed”. anyway I dont have that many examples lol but its come up a few times.
also heard people wondering if zipping audio files is a problem for the audio quality although thats kind of different

The ultimate truhed sound design move would be to submit your tune to a DJ who then plays it on Rinse, so you can resample it with the worlds worst radio compression. Really get that hollow plastic tube feel to your tracks
