What are different ways to put out music and actually be noticed?
First step is to make good music. Next post it everywhere and whore yourself out (theres a site called newgrounds my girlfriend showed me. It’s shitty but for some reason I get way more hits on it than soundcloud) after that I would send it to as many people as you can. There’s mrsuicidesheep who puts out a lot of stuff (I think it’s mostly smaller guys but idk) you could try monstercat… I would go for something like a local radio show. If I make something I feel good about I’m going to send it to the college radio show at MSU. They have a local music night and a electronic music night so it might be worth it on one of those two. I would look for something like this.
This is all coming from someone who makes shitty music so take it with a grain of salt

Keep an eye on social media, DJ’s are always posting looking for people to send them music. If your looking to send stuff to a label, do not send them a soundcloud link, why would they want to put something out you have already uploaded. Dropbox and a private link so they can listen before downloading. Also send some sort of a message but not your whole life story. Also get down to your local nights and chat to people, pass on CD’s etc.
