Quantizing audio in pro tools

I try to quantize dragged in songs that I want to sample, but I keep getting artifacts. I’m not sure what to do to fix it.

I’m not sure how the Pro Tools timestretching and quantizing tools are, but for what you want to do, Ableton Live would do the trick.

Can you suggest a good sampler?

I’ve tried ableton. I love it’s time stretching capabilities, but it’s expensive. Pro tools is capable, but it has a steep learning curve
