The whole arena moshpit side was the least interesting element of “SoundCloud rap is like punk dude!” and post die lit Carti embraced that too much. The opposite of the moody interiority of Awful era Carti, SGP etc and largely losing the waviness of the plugg-to-pierre era. That stuff was what created his famous “aura” and mystique in the first place!
