UKG/Breaks release on Sublow Sounds titled ‘Opaque’. This 4 track EP embraces core elements of wobbly mid-noughties Garage, Dub, Breaks and Bass music, showcasing the duo’s diverse approach to production aesthetics.
The title track ‘Opaque’ sets the tone for the whole EP with its riding break sequences and powerful basslines bringing life and unity to the release. ‘This Sound’ gives us that pure low-end sub we’ve been waiting for, finding a new home for the classic ‘Dibby Sound’ vocal sample. ‘Angel Porn’ breaks the chains from the EP - don’t let the orgasmic angel vocals fool you because this one is riot music when it drops. We finish off with a remix of ‘Opaque’ from label heads Par and Blazey, taking all the elements and rolling it up into one big bad bass hitter, your nan approves.
