Anyone get down last night? DJ Perception’s set absolutely spun me, so good. Having the system in one 6 scoop stack turned it into a monster too.
Yeah was there, tbh I was a bit disappointed. It was nice hearing house on the rig but I think after 2 hours of dub it wasn’t enough energy to keep it rolling until viveks set. Even then, I didn’t really enjoy his set that much; felt like a mash up of numerous vivek sets I’ve heard over the years. Also didn’t help that it was quite rammed and bar prices at phonox are a rip off.
I think if it was an hour of dub, hour of house I would’ve probably enjoyed the curation more. We didn’t even end up staying for calibre’s set ![]()

As a side note, it was good that they had a whole stack in there. The pressure was reaching some serious levels throughout
Fair enough, straight 4x4 not usually my thing either but he dropped in enough gnarly dark garage to keep it interesting. Thought he just built the set really nicely. VIV’s set maybe quite frustrating, know what you mean. He draws for some fairly random dungeon bits at times when there’s so many weapons he could pull out. Proper bone shaking bassweight however, and he played Quest - Deep Inside which is a bucket list system tune for me. Calibre started off strong with the rolling 140 stuff but I had to tap out. Long day with carnival as well ![]()
wouldnt be an issue if you didnt drink so much?
you tried not being a debauched souse you scoundrel?
have a glass of water? perhaps a bovril if you really need sustenance?
where were you indeed?
probably urinating in the unsuspecting public’s front yard i suspect
unseemly imho
I mean I’m normally quite up for anything at a dance, but there does need to be some sort of arc to the night. Even with the garagey bits it just felt like 3 hours of warm up ![]()
@faultier I was supposed to have both pills & k so not get that many drinks but the fucking dealer lost the pills
tbf in the grand scheme of things I’m happy I didn’t have them as it would’ve been such a waste
