We’re trying to recreate something that NOT many people have been able to accomplish. Only a few who have tried have actually got close with it. The whole point is that people want what is rare. Say I was selling an old antique car on ebay… Many people would be investing in trying to get it to be the lucky one/few who actually has it.
Knowing the knowledge on skrillex’s kind of growls could be a step forward for a lot of people who want to be able to achieve his growls to then ADAPT them to their own personal taste to get their own “sound”. But I get the other side of the argument too… If everyone knew how to do it, it wouldn’t be a rarity any more, would it? - and many people would abuse it to JUST sound like skrillex.

You could remove the reverb actually, I think it would sound pretty decent without it. Maybe some more distortion after all the eqing and what not.

Yeah I think that would make it sound just a bit better, because the reverb was making the movement muddy
