Time signatures and dubstep?

I really wanna make some chaabi inspired dubstep. I think that something cross rhythmic could be really awesome

I guess you’re correct, but more like a division of the meter which is not necessarily given by the time signature the “main elements” of the song is written in.

Quintuplet swing is fun to play on drums.

Just do it man. Spend a week programming shuffled triplets and you’re half-way there.

yeah, i actually dont know what you’d call what you originally described, my mind went to arpeggio but thats a different thing… either way tuplets = fun!

It’s also called tuplets, hence my confusion. Glad you joined, too few people here are into the technicalities of complex rhythm stuff, hehe.
