I am such a fan boy of good clean drums and I struggle with the pattern of creating it and also the overall good tight mix/mastering of drums. Any tips or tricks to start writing better drums and just better mixing/mastering tips?

Of course I am totally looking to Koan Sound just because the beauty of how everything sounds. I know they use Reason and I am a ableton user but I just want to know how to make something like it. I totally love resampling now.
