Scientific Wax Retro 01-06 wins for both sentimental as well as financial…so many memories especially with 01, and they are stupidly expensive on the 2nd hand market.

oh yeah, the beats are stupidly good too…

Most treasured would be a Neil Merryweather rock album from late 60s
then 70s dub reggae originals incl. Burning Spear, Scientist, Black Uhuru
original releases from Can, Neu & their offshoots
dubstep would be 2002 Menta’s Snake Charmer on Road
tho I really prize Tolerance’s 2010 Chamber of Secrets
& crave RSD’s Living in Unity
but I can go round to a mates for all the 001s, 002s… of the legendary labels Apple, Tempa etc,
without worrying about the dosh.

I think another one of mine would be Artwork - Red EP.
Had to buy the record because for some reason the digital release didn’t include “Red” for some reason, and that was really the only tune I wanted off it

This is one of the most underrated plates in my collection - batter it loads, Snake Charmer has that lovely quality of being a hard as fuck tune without being overly aggy, fits into pretty much any stage of a set/mix
