I use JunoDownload & Bandcamp for everything broken beat, & use beatport for tech & house. If im buying records i use redeye.

well he changed the snare & of course eminem rapped on it so id say its pretty different

For sure, but for the most part we donât pay to clear samples. You use a lot of drum machine samples and I assume you donât own one, and havenât paid for the recordings either. Yeah, some are free, but in theory they shouldnât be. Sorry to call you out so directly, I guess nobody pays for drum samples in general these days, and nobody thinks too much of it, bar the odd exception.
And a lot of the time, people donât even do things like re-arrange chords from the original and just play them at a different tempo and add stuff around it. Which is basically DJing that track into whatâs otherwise one of your own.
I dunno, I feel like thereâs a contradiction.
