I constantly see DJs have 500+ song on their computers, do they buy them all or do they have a provider?
http://nodata.tv/ usually
I’m not a DJ but I buy all of my music because I want to support the artist who makes that music, so they will continue to make music. If everyone stole music no-one would make any music.
tbf most collections are built up over time so even if a DJ bought say 500 songs in wav format, thats like what 1.29 per track? thats like £645 but spread over the course of say a year or more. besides if you DJ at a level where you’re getting bookings you should have no problem investing in your craft and buying tracks anyway b2b receiving tracks before they’re released from the artist
How do you know what legit and what’s a virus?
Trigger imo.
**assuming people only make music to make money off it.
What is trigger imo?
i buy all my shit off bandcamp or buy zips direct off guys
if u get payed to play out & play rips or other shit i generally regard thee as fuckboi
junodownload, bandcamp, & discogs.

Yeah, pm me some fire as well.
Thanks.
I buy so much music from here these days it is crazy.
soundcloud is utter shit anymore for finding tunes
i guess i could make a big thread of some older bandcamp/SC stuff tho now that my sub-category dsf board is gone ;___;
might work on that
What’s your username on their?
Wouldn’t mind following you to keep up with which releases your feeling.
The most legit place, sunk 130 there last night. I like that you can get it in all formats there. 320’s fine, but I appreciate having the option to become an audiophile.
bandcamp / junodownload.com / sonicboom UK
Prefer to be legit, ain’t about taking money from my friends pockets.
Tbh, I have no qualms with getting a pirate copy of something that sold out on wax. For the most part I do buy it back in digi when I’ve got the P though.
Initially I agreed with this, but I found myself acquiring some samples and thought, ‘why is this any different?’
bc finished tunes are not manipulated the way samples are while djing vs producing
