Yamaha Keyboard "DJ" Button

Easy guys,

It’s been so long since I’ve poked my head in here but hope you’re all doing great. :laughing:

Some of you that went to school in the early 00’s will remember those Yamaha keyboards we had in music class - the ones where you could press the “DJ” button and get a whole load of tacky, Lex Lugerish samples.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get hold of that set of samples?

Specifically it’s the Yamaha PSR-280.

I know it’s a long shot but if anyone’s got any ideas that would be great.

Not that model specifically but similar models are on gumtree for like £40 if you wanted to just buy one. Cash Converters or similar must have them come in every now and then?

Is that ‘DJ!’ sound the one Cluekid used in Weed Smokers?

If you go to your local secondary school they’ve probably got a few lying around and probably wouldn’t mind you sampling them.
