All Hail Commodo

this. who runs black acre? i wonder how they decided to release an album together (commodo and black acre). i know lurka’s had at least one but a few releases (iirc) on that label, and commodo and lurka used to do some stuff together…

dubstep stuff will be kept for medi ye? its not a dubstep album. pls stop

Black Acre is/was a sister label of Black Box

Still think its a badboy album

no it isn’t/wasn’t.

Both labels were run from Chemical (for a while), and Ian the bossman of Black Acre was the label manager of Black Box.

:+1:

Fair enough but by those relations most ppl would describe them as sister or stablemates no? Iznt that important anyhow, i think the labels a great fit

solid gold telephone on the flip (non-album track)

And you ran box clever iirc?

Fair, personally wasn’t actually into any of those releases, but if you like that then this probably won’t be your thing, imo. After a proper listen through, it’s not exactly dubstep which is what I feel like those releases were geared towards.

i’m glad it comes out on black acre, its a criminally underrated label imo

ditto
their releases are always quality imo

Had to delete the clips post, sorry folks!

The 2 x 12" album is up on redeye but it’s £25, cheaper to cop directly from black acre.(£21.65 posted) https://blackacre.databeats.com/vinyl/acrelp007
