That’s exactly what I thought of Ableton. So I was done listening to it. In fact, it immediately does this on purpose; by moving the inspectors to the right side of the daw editor page. The second you go to move a slider on channel one, you understand what the relationship is going to be like.

People are immediately put off by it, and become narrow minded. Once your mental agenda is determined, there is not much to be done about it. They are immediately “alienated” by it. It’s not bullshit, although it is not “quantifiable”, by me anyway. Obviously, Apple doesn’t agree either; or whoever designed the “magic mouse” would have long been fired. They forgot the button that makes it usable.

That one button shit makes you use a second hand on your keyboard.

Yeah, this is bullshit.

i think every aspect of it is psychology. money, code, security, every aspect.
I could write you a book about why a dog is better than a cat detailed, but at the end of the day I have had one all my life. you can keep your cat.

what else is really left on that? A copy of Ableton is expensive, but let’s say you go with Reaper for $70. A 8gb mini is 699, and 200 more for Logic. That leaves you with $830 to buy an equal pc. How does that work in todays economy with chip prices, etc? That’s prob barely Dell money.

you know I have been screwing around with windows computers forever. i have no reason to lie or an agenda. I like windows. But I also know the difference between a pneumatic wrench and an impact gun.
