It’s the way I’ve always played. It is what I’m used to. My turntables are in Road Ready cases and stacked on top of the lid. My Rane mixer rests on the edge of the cases.

Same tho I’ve always done standard orientation, i have tried battle style in the past but I’m nervous reaching over the arm for the pitch lol

Used to do battle style for years when i lived at my rents house cause i had no room. Got plenty of room now so no need for it. Comfortable with both though.
Why would you choose battle style if you have the room to have them the normal way?

Yeah we usually go there once a month or so. It’s possible I was there as well haha. He’s normally at redpoint tho
The tone arm is out of the way in battle style so you do them big reloads safely
