Classic "Take a Photo of Your Set-Up" dj playmobiledisco

if memory serves that is a very usable compressor

I just plugged a bass into it and its kinda nice. It gets a little muddy but that’s what eq is for

i do record it straight in with the audio interface, the quality is kinda ‘ok’ but not crap. My laptop is kinda the main problem though, coz I can’t work with songs in a breeze, it’s always a drag coz of the lag. (fuck yeah it rhymes)

It might be worth saving up and building a decent PC or getting a Macbook (ew)

Personally I think Mac is good for producing music but it’s just really overpriced. As a broke college student, It’s impossible for me to afford one. I’m a laptop person coz I’m always out, so pretty much a laptop is much more reliable for me, plus I’m really bad setting up PC’s. I don’t even know where to start =))

Yea I agree that’s why I can’t have one. Asus make some banging PC laptops so have a look at that brand in particular

My current laptop is Asus btw :))) but its CPU is I5 2.5GHz though, like its specs are the minimum for music production, it wouldn’t do much work.

Mine is worse I guess it depends how many plugins u use and how many tracks. You could just bounce tracks to audio when they are good enough so they use less CPU. Alsonthen u have committed to a sound haha

I know this is a dumb question but…
has anyone ever turned a horizontal angled bike into decks ?

I use the Ikea Expedit, with the wheels on the bottom, makes it a nice height - and I’m 6’6"
