Pretty well set up in the new place now, got some shelves up for the synths and worked the 2S (which is now fully functioning after a very minor repair, lol) in there next to the System-1. Considering having it next to the Microbrute so I can patch then together into a single unit but we’ll see about that

Thanks, the gf is the one who does all the plant tending hahah, there’s many more around the room you can’t see. Makes for a nicer work environment

im thinking about having all my clothes and books in the ‘studio’ to absorb soundwaves
I have a couch plus my records, books and clothes behind me now and it made a pretty big
change in the +/- 100 - 250 range. It’s still a complete mess acoustically though. I even check
my reverbs on headphones now. I tend to overdo them on the speakers which is weird because I
learned it ‘should’ be the other way around.
If I want accurate monitoring over speakers I’m just going to have to rent a space. Luckily there’s
a lot of producers sharing nice studio spaces in A’dam. So you can get something for around
€200 a month. Added bonus: share gear with others.

i think i put too much weight on being a dirtbag diy guy to ever get a good monitoring environment/studio
somewhere inbetween this and an indoor succulent forest zone seems about right

It works. Looking to upgrade my synth/gear stand at some point i recon but using two boards from an old bed does the trick atm.
