I remember playing with Hammerhead.exe back in day, discovering there was literally no ‘wrong’ way to cut an amen… 
But what Ryan says is true. You just have to make it.
Line up the waveforms side by side; you’ll also probably need to tweak attack on certain drum voicings. Amen has soft attacks on kicks and rides.
