DSF61 Production Competition: The Remix

Yeah that shits definitely not from there.

Maybe it caught the vocal and compared it to that LFO. That’s some AI BS

Here’s my original sound track.
My LFO wub is made from serum and doesn’t even do the same thing lmao. The fuck?

Yeah of course you can vote man! The more the merrier

Sure, it’s free use until someone copyrights it, and the algo picks your song up because of that copyrighted song. This is why I am completely against services like Splice.

Best practice is, and has always been, to just record everything yourself. Sampling and using sample packs can be a mega hassle.

Yeah but not even my song was copyrighted, meaning I never had a strike or issue. I suppose if someone’s uploading many of the same in one sound then it might activate?

I don’t have answers here

Paralytik sorted it for you. :bluethumb:

Or at least take a fuckin’ chainsaw to the original sample and mutilate it til the corpse is unrecognizable. Leave no fingerprints or teeth so to speak.

Yeah but you all just did that for the most part. and still had those issues :joy:.

AI can eat a dick here. Poor algorithm.

Alright, so it was my tune that was getting the ban hammer

I uploaded it to my soundcloud and contested the copyright strike, it just got approved today and the strike removed

I’m pretty sure it’s the pad + sub around a minute into my tune that’s causing the algorithm to pick it up. The pad is just the guitar sample reversed and stretched with some processing. With the sub underneath it, it sounds somewhat similar to the come up of the synth in the ‘It can wait’ tune

All I know is I’m looking forward to our first non-SC comp.

ᴱᴰᴵᵀ: can we just call this one and bump up the Calendar a couple days?
