You could do a lot worse than opening some random midi tune file, putting a round robin sampler on each instrument channel, and pressing play. Aka “throw enough turds against a wall.” Slice, dice, bingo bango bobs yer uncle.

I’ve used this method and it always turns up something interesting {to me.}

EDIT: it’s also made me laugh really hard a few times, full warning.

EDIT2: welp I went and broke my sampler lol. The dev released a new feature and like a fool I went and tested, broke it and now the AUv3 won’t boot. Hope he gets around to answering with a fix or Ima hafta do a quick and narsty w sth like GarageBand :man_facepalming:.
